The last month has been full of unforeseen challenges with COVID-19 spreading across the world and impacting our daily lives. The utmost priority of ValueFirst is the safety of our team, our clients and our partners. We are working relentlessly to do everything we can to contribute to the efforts to contain and slow down the impact of this pandemic.
On the business side, we have put in place many virus-mitigating steps to reduce potential transmission:- Across the globe, our teams are working from home. We have extended the activity until further notice. We have extensive online collaboration capabilities for our teams to communicate seamlessly and safely.
- Our technical infrastructure is built for maximum availability and resilience. At this time, we expect no disruption on our technical infrastructure due to COVID-19.- We have built up a strong business continuity plan and a competitive product portfolio over the years. This will allow us to contain this crisis but more importantly, help us come out as an even stronger organization.
We continue to focus long-term.I want to take this opportunity to also thank all my colleagues who are doing an outstanding job to keep our operations strong and running. Over the last few weeks, we have been working closely with state governments across the country to create WhatsApp based helplines for them. People can interact with the chatbot and get information on what is COVID-19, what are its symptoms, how does it spread, the latest updates from authorities and alerts.
The helpdesk will also serve as a great platform for avoiding the spread of misinformation.In an effort to ensure that basic necessities reach many who are being deprived during this pandemic, ValueFirst has decided to contribute in its own modest ways. With our initiatives, we hope we can make a difference.
While some of our team members are out on the streets helping humans and animals fight the food scarcity, as an organization we have donated to the PM Cares fund in India. The donation is a combination of voluntary amounts by our team members and ValueFirst, as an organization. We have little knowledge about COVID-19 and about the impact, it could have on us and our dear ones. Please take good care of yourself and your dear ones. Be patient and kind. Stock up on the supplies; don’t hoard. Help those who need it.
