To fetch the data from SAP enterprise business model, SAP plug-in executes SAP_Pull service. SAP_Pull service runs as a Windows based service and logs all the details pertaining to data pull out transactions from SAP architecture.
To start SAP-Pull service, follow steps as below:
Option1
From the
start icon of the system, select
Settings>Control Panel , the
Control Panel window opens
In the
Control Panel window, go to
Administrative Tools .
Double click
Administrative Tools icon,
Administrative Tools window displays content of Administrative Tools.
Select and double click the
Services icon, the
Services window opens, thus executing Service Manager.
In the
Services window, locate and select
sap_pull service in the
Extended tab in the right pane.
In the tool bar of
Services window, locate and click the icon-

(Start Service), the SAP_Pull service starts.
Option2
From the
start icon of the system, select
Run , the
Run command dialog box opens.
In the
Run command dialog box, type string:
services.msc in the
Open box.
Click
OK , the
Services window opens.
In the
Services window, locate and select
sap_pull service in the
Extended tab in the right pane.
In the tool bar of
Services window, locate and click the icon-

(Start Service), the SAP_Pull service starts.
Note:
To ensure the
sap_pull service executes automatically, select
sap_pull service in the
Extended tab in the right pane of
Services window and check the value in
Startup Type box for
sap_pull service. The value in
Startup Type box must be ‘
Automatic'.
